Mr Lee
Mr Lee’s martial arts journey began at just four years old when he started training in Judo. He went on to complete his junior Judo career achieving a Brown Belt with three black bars before discovering MMA through YAMA.
Since joining YAMA, Mr Lee has trained for over six years, earning his 1st Degree Black Belt and continually striving to challenge himself and develop both as a martial artist and an instructor.
Throughout his time at YAMA, he has embraced a wide range of opportunities. He successfully completed the YAMA Fight Academy programme, stepping into the cage for four amateur MMA bouts, and has also developed his skills in traditional martial arts weapons, including the Escrima Stick and Nunchaku. Alongside his own training, Mr Lee has spent the past four years supporting classes as an Assistant Instructor, building valuable experience working with students of all ages.
As an instructor, Mr Lee is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming and positive environment where every student feels encouraged to learn and grow. His aim is to help children not only develop strong martial arts skills, but also understand the purpose behind the techniques they are learning—all while ensuring every class is fun, engaging and rewarding.
